4.  TO ENTER:  Sponsor will offer the Sweepstakes in conjunction with certain participating business entities and non-profit organizations as identified on digital and print materials advertising the Sweepstakes.  As discussed below, Sponsor is offering only ONE GRAND PRIZE AND TWO ENTRY PERIOD PRIZES in conjunction with all such participating business entities and non-profit organizations. For a list of participating business entities and non-profit organizations visit www.sharedsweeps.com.

Below are the ways to receive entries into this Sweepstakes:

  1. VIA PURCHASE/DONATION

  • Every Dollar Spent/Donated = 1 Entry.  Visit a participating business entity‘s website or retail location and make a purchase of any qualifying product (including a subscription)1 (the “Website”) or a participating non-profit organization‘s website, complete the form with all required information and make a donation using a qualifying payment method.2 For every $1USD of qualifying product purchase or donation (for residents of Canada, $1.40CAD of qualifying purchase/donation) made during the timeframe specified (as indicated on the business entity‘s website, in-store, Website or the non-profit organization’s website, as the case may be), Entrant will receive one (1) entry. For clarity: if a purchase/donation is made other than via the participating business entity’s/non-profit organization’s website, Website or a participating business entity’s retail location, no entry will be received in conjunction therewith. For entry via purchase/donation, no entry will be received if (a) the corresponding transaction is void and not accepted for any reason (e.g., unauthorized use of credit card) or (b) the participating business entity or non-profit organization (as the case may be) does not record all necessary information so as to issue entry/entries in conjunction with the corresponding transaction; Sponsor, Independent Administrator, participating business entities  and participating non-profit organizations shall not have any liability in conjunction with entry/entries not being received for such reasons.

  • Multiplier. By way of supplement to the bonus entries discussed in “Bonus Entries for production/collections” below, depending on the participating business entity or non-profit organization, the number of entries received via qualifying purchase/donation may be multiplied, as disclosed on the website of the corresponding business entity/non-profit organization or in-store at corresponding business entity.3

  • Bonus Entries or Multiplier for products/collections: In addition: (a) If total amount of qualifying purchase/donation is at least $1.00USD/$1.40CAD, Entrant may receive bonus entries or a mutliplier based on the total amount of qualifying purchase/donation as disclosed in conjunction with the qualifying purchase/donation3; (b) if qualifying purchase includes a specially designated item, Entrant will receive bonus entries or a multiplier available via the specially designated item’s purchase price as disclosed in conjunction with the qualifying purchase/donation3.

  • Bonus Entries or Multiplier for Order Amount. Business entities may offer bonus entries or multiplier on purchase order amounts. The bonus entries or multiplier received will be determined by the purchase order amount, as disclosed on the website of the corresponding business entity/non-profit organization or in-store at corresponding business entity.3

  • Bonus Entries or Multiplier for Coupon Code. Business entities may provide customers a coupon code that gives bonus entries or a multiplier for the order. Coupon codes may or may not have a product discount attached to it. If a discount is applied the total amount of entries will be applied to the after-discount purchase amount.

  • 2X Item. An Entrant that purchases a specific item as outlined on the website of the corresponding business entity/non-profit organization or in-store will receive two times (2x) the total number of entries of the order.

For the avoidance of doubt, all bonus entries, coupons and Discounts and 2x item entries are additional after the multiplier has been applied.

1For entry via qualifying product purchase: (a) dollar amount spent includes gift card purchases, tax, shipping and handling fees as applicable; (b) Entrant may need to upload proof of purchase (ie receipt) and/or complete additional data fields on an entry form as a condition of receipt of entries; and (c) if items received via qualifying purchase are returned (whether or not refund is issued), any entries received in conjunction therewith will be cancelled.

2Sponsor makes no representation, warranty or guarantee of any kind that Entrant will receive a tax deduction or other charitable benefit in conjunction with donation to participating non-profit organization; the availability of any such charitable benefit is a matter to be resolved solely between Entrant as the donor and the participating non-profit organization as the done. (An Entrant may therefore wish to consult with his/her accountant or other tax professional before seeking to claim any such charitable benefit in conjunction with making a donation.) SPONSOR IS NOT ACTING AS A PROFESSIONAL FUNDRAISER OR CHARITABLE SOLICITOR NOR RECEIVING PAYMENTS FROM NON-PROFITS FOR PARTICIPATING IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

3 You are advised to check the website or in-store BEFORE making the qualifying product purchase/donation to determine the number of entries received in conjunction therewith via any of the multipliers set forth above. Sponsor reserves the right to modify one or more available multipliers or eliminate multiplier(s) in their entirety during the corresponding timeframe.

  1. VIA MEMBERSHIP  AT SHARED SWEEPS: Visit https://bit.ly/shared_sweeps_premium and sign up for a monthly membership to receive exclusive monthly offers along with double entries on all orders made through Shared Sweeps brands.  Entrant will need to provide all of the required information as requested in order to submit and complete the membership. If an Entrant requests a refund, the refund and cancellation of entries will be determined based on the brands refund policy.

  1. VIA MISCELLANEOUS ACTIONS OTHER THAN PURCHASE/DONATION: A certain designated number of entries may be received for performing specified actions other than making a purchase/donation as prescribed by a given participating business entity or non-profit organization. By way of example only, such actions may include registering at the website of a business entity/non-profit organization; downloading the app of a business entity/non-profit organization; signing up for e-mail and/or SMS text communications from a business entity/non-profit organization; completing an informational survey for the business entity/non-profit organization.  In all cases, the specified action must be completed in accordance with the accompanying instructions as a condition of receipt of entries for doing so. BEFORE taking any action, you are advised to carefully review the instructions as well as noting the number of entries available for taking the action.

  1. 7.  PRIZE CLAIM:  Each prize winner will be notified via a contact source provided at the time of registration (at the discretion of the Independent Administrator) within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing date.  The potential prize winner must sign and return to the Independent Administrator an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability/publicity release in the form provided by the Independent Administrator (the “Release”) and IRS form W-9 (US Residents) or W8-BEN (Canadian Residents) in order to claim the prize (collectively, the “Required Documents”) within the time frame indicated in the Notification. If the potential prize winner fails to sign and return the Required Documents within the required time period, the potential prize winner forfeits their right to the prize and an alternate prize winner may be selected at random from among all remaining non-winning eligible entries during the Sweepstakes Period or Entry Period, at the discretion of the Independent Administrator and time permitting. If the potential prize winner is a resident of Canada, they will be required to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, failing which they will be disqualified, and another potential prize winner may be randomly selected from among the remaining non-winning eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period or Entry Period, at the discretion of the Independent Administrator and time permitting.

The Independent Administrator must report the value of the prize to the IRS in the year the prize is received by the prize winner and will be reported to the prize winner and the IRS in the form of a Form 1099 or 1042S.  In the event it is deemed during the verification process that the potential prize winner does not have a unique, personal and valid social security number for Sponsor (or any party acting on its behalf) to report the tax liability associated with acceptance of the prize, the potential prize winner will be disqualified and another potential prize winner may be randomly selected from among the remaining non-winning eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period or Entry Period, at the discretion of the Independent Administrator and time permitting.  Valid social security numbers will be determined by IRS requirements.

POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNER UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT SPONSOR MAY REFUSE TO AWARD THE PRIZE TO THE POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNER AND WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY OR FURTHER OBLIGATION TO HIM/HER UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY IF SPONSOR DETERMINES IN ITS SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION, AFTER REVIEWING THE BACKGROUND CHECK, THAT AWARDING THE PRIZE TO POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNER WOULD REFLECT ADVERSELY ON SPONSOR OR ITS GOODS OR SERVICES (EVEN IF SUCH POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNER IS OTHERWISE ELIGIBLE AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH THESE OFFICIAL RULES). Potential prize winner agrees that Sponsor’s decisions relative to the background check are final and binding in all respects and are not subject to appeal.
